2019 China-South Africa Vocational Education Cooperative Alliance (CAVEC) Was Held in CCMC to Conduct a Survey on South African Students' Study Program in China

    On June 4, Chen Songtao, Deputy Director of the South African Center for Chinese Culture and International Education Exchange, visited CCMC. Ren Bo, Secretary of the Party Committee met and exchanged views between the two sides.

In Room B107, two sides held a survey meeting on the Chinese-South African Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance's 2009 South African Student Study Program in China, with the participation of Vice-President Moku, deans or directors from International Cooperation and Exchange Center, Teaching Affairs Division, School of Cultural Industry Management, School of Business Administration, school of Tourism and Information Engineering. The meeting was chaired by Lu Hong, Director of the Center for International Cooperation and Exchange.

Vice-President Moku delivered a speech on behalf of CCMC to welcome the guests. Chen Songtao introduced the advantages and comprehensive strength of the  program in terms of professional construction, school-enterprise cooperation, integration of production and education, and international education. Chen songtao thanked CCMC for its warm reception and introduced the background, operation mode and implementation of the South African Student Project of China-South Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance. He also interpreted the working idea of the project "Coming in and going out, government cooperation and non-governmental cooperation, education cooperation and industrial cooperation". Lu shared the experience of education, teaching and management of training South African students in some domestic higher vocational colleges since the project was run for two years.

It is reported that the purpose of the China-South Africa Vocational Education Project is to promote the pragmatic development of vocational education with South Africa and other African countries, strengthen the integration of industry and education, and promote the cooperation of Chinese vocational colleges and enterprises to "go out".
